Cleo is 3 1/2 years young, and is an owner surrender because her family (who loved her very much) got stationed in Germany for the next three years and was not able to take her with them. She had been with her family since she was eight weeks old and that included her mom, her dad and her two girls 9 and 11.
Cleo is house trained, crate trained, and does not chew on things she shouldn't. She knows basic commands such a sit and lay down and has not been allowed on the furniture, so with the exception of a little sneak here and there does a good job of staying off couches and beds etc.
Cleo likes to go for walks but needs more training on a leash and collar, she does a bit better with a harness.
Cleo is good at lounging in the house when need be, but would much prefer to be in your face, wrestling on the ground, playing around outside in a fenced in area, throwing her toys around and chewing on bones. She is happiest when she has the opportunity to expend her energy and play!
Cleo is somewhat alpha and has now adjusted to her male boxer foster brother. There are no cats or small dogs in her foster-home.
Her foster mom thinks she would be perfect for a family with children who would love to play with her, throw toys, wrestle, and love on her.
Cleo is being fostered by Lisa in Jacksonville.
