Willet

Willet is a stunningly beautiful, 1 year old, 50lb boy who came to BARC after his owners gave him up at an early age. His puppy-like, fun behavior was too much for them. Willet loves people, is great with children and is very interested in cats, but is mostly scared of them. He would love to have another canine playmate around so he can have fun and expend energy. He loves soccer or tug-o-war with his foster brother and they enjoy zooming around the backyard. During dinner time, he can be found laying next to someone in the kitchen, as he loves to be someones shadow. Willet is crate and house trained. Willet is looking for someone who can continue to teach him manners and be a confident leader in his life. He looks to his people for direction and picks up on obedience commands really quickly. He is learning how to behave on a leash and is turning out to be a very quick learner. He settles quickly and can be a fun couch potato after he gets to know his new family. Willet and his foster mom run 2 miles a day and he LOVES it! So if you're looking for a fun active exercise companion, you've found your match! He is being fostered by Nichole in Gainesville, FL.
