Suzy, otherwise known as SuzyQ, the White Girl, Suzy Blue and SecondChance Suzy… is a very well-mannered, socially polite and relaxed boxer that loves to get loved on, play with kids, say hello to every friend, go on walks, and even sleep and relax with the best of them.
She enjoys interacting with other dogs and loves kids so much- she just lights up when they walk into the room. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She is happy to run errands, complete charity walks, relax on a restaurant patio or cuddle on the couch.
Suzy was rescued by BARC when she was left at the vets office in a diabetic ketoacidosis and was critically ill for a few days. She has bounced back remarkably well at her foster home to a full recovery and is both a strong and sweet girl. She has well-controlled diabetes and does require insulin treatments twice a day. Her busy foster mom and family have managed this well and surprisingly find injections almost easier than giving a pill! Suzy is an amazing girl with never-ending calm and sweet “Suzy love” to give her furever family.
Suzy is 6 years old and weighs 63 lbs.; she is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows the sit, shake and leave-it commands. Suzy is great with other dogs and loves kids.
