Winnie was well loved and well trained by her former owner who had to give her up. She has transitioned beautifully and has a great temperament. She plays well with her foster mom's other dog and she is good with being crated though not destructive at all if left alone and uncrated. Although not a youngster, Winnie has retained her playful, inquisitive puppy nature and makes her foster mom laugh a lot. Winnie sits for her food dish and also sits at the door for her leash to be attached for a walk. She walks right with you....no pulling at the leash, no lunging at cats, other dogs, or other people. While she doesn't bark at them, Winnie keeps a wary eye on people encountered on a walk and takes a watchful stance if they start to approach. She doesn't bark in the house unless it is something significant, such as someone entering the yard.

Winnie is 6-7 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is housebroken and does well with dogs, cats and children. She does not get on furniture unless invited and respects personal space. Overall, she is just a perfect little lady, who would fit in any home. Winnie is quite accomplished at the "boxer wiggle dance" and does it with great joy for every return home by her foster mom. According to her foster mom, whoever adopts this dog will get the "best dog ever!" Winnie is being fostered by Elaine in Jacksonville, FL.
