The mission of B.A.R.C. is to aid and rescue homeless boxers throughout the north Florida and south Georgia region by obtaining for them appropriate medical care; providing a behavioral assessment during their rehabilitation, and placing them into permanent pre-screened homes with adopters who will treat them as a member of the family; as well as; to educate the public about issues related to boxers as companion animals.

***Feature Boxer*** Jedi

While Yoda the Jedi may have said, “Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things.” Our Jedi feels a little differently. He LOVES those things. He also wants to snuggle and will curl up as close to you as possible and bury his head in and fall asleep. He wants nothing more than to have his own person to curl up with - And like Yoda he will make a very loyal companion. Jedi will follow you everywhere, staying close by your side.

He seems to know the phrase "bye bye" and gives the cutest head tilt and perks his ears forward when he hears it. Jedi comes when called, since he doesn't want to miss what might be going on while he is out of sight. He jumps really high when playing and has a lot of energy, so he would be perfect for an active family or as a jogging partner.

Jedi is 4-5 years old boxer blend and weighs about 60 lbs. He is housebroken, crate trained (doesn't really like it) and walks relatively well on a leash. If you would like more information on Jedi, please complete our online adoption application today. He is being fostered by Denice in Jacksonville, FL.
