This little boy is a jewel! Richie is playful but not demanding. He loves to be held and receive attention but does not demand it. He gets along with older dogs who do not like to play; he is interested but doesn't aggravate them - in fact, he will take them toys to entice them to play, but will quietly go about his business when they don't respond. Ritchie is so patient with the other young puppy in the house and never gets mad at her even when she insists on eating his food or biting his ears. He simply goes to the other bowl to eat and tolerates her relentless demands to play. This extra special boy has the potential to be an outstanding companion. Ritchie likes people, dogs, and he would probably like cats as he does not seem to have a high prey drive. Django is a beautiful one year old male. He is very calm, sweet and loves to be with people. He will follow you wherever you go and is content to sleep by your feet. Django does great with other dogs (and kids!) and loves going for car rides. [More]

Cookie is a 1 1/2 year old female who is shy, sweet, playful at times and is very quiet. She loves to be petted and seems to be particularly fond of women. [More]

Farrah is a shy four year old who is just starting to show her boxer wiggle. She wants to please and minds well. Farrah is getting along with the other dogs in the house, both large and small, but no kitties, please. [More]

China is a two year old female, who is a very pleasant foster. She enjoys just being included, and likes to explore the fenced back yard, but frequently checks in from her adventures. China understands that her toys are hers and leaves clothing and household items alone. She has been left alone uncrated for as long as seven hours, without incident. China appreciates firm direction and wants to learn how to best please. She is still young and shows a great deal of excitement when entering new situations and meeting new people; however, with a little guidance, she will grow into a great family companion. [More]

Nava is a 5-6 month old little female, who is nearly the perfect girl. She is very young, but has the manners of a well trained two year old. She will conform to any situation you put her in. Nava is gettling along with her foster brother and two cats. She likes to cuddle and LOVES to play! She is energetic when you are and calm when it's time to settle down. [More]

Hopscotch is a two year old male, who is a loving and gentle boy. He is so sweet and wants to be close to you at all times; he also loves a good belly rub! Hopscotch is intelligent and is quickly learning his role in his foster home. [More]

Cristi is a 1 1/2 - 2 year old female. She is a very playful, fun loving girl and loves attention. Christi is a big lovebug weighing 65lbs with weight to gain, but her size doesn't affect her gentle demeanor. Christi has the biggest, most gentle brown eyes ever. She was turned into the shelter by her owners who "didn't have time" but is now safe in a BARC foster home. She is doing great with her 4 foster brothers but cats are still an unknown. She does well in her crate and is learning walking on a leash, but she is such a quick learner she will get it in no time. She loves to lick and definitely has the boxer lean! She is happy to know she is safe and loved and shows us gratitude every day. Christi is being fostered by Shanon and Cam in Jacksonville.

Tron is a two year old very laid back boy with that go with the flow personality. He is a petite boy at only 50 lbs and he gets along with all dogs in his foster home (3 boys and 1 girl.) He walks right into his crate and never makes a sound. He LOVES a belly rub and if you even touch his tummy he rolls over. He is a joy to have in the home.
